Depending on the type of site you run, who your target and niche consumer market is, and how much you have to spend on marketing, there are many different options and types of marketing to consider when trying to increase the traffic to your online site page. As a business owner, one has to take the time to compare the different methods, find out what their target audience (age, gender, demographics, etc) is most likely to respond to, and consider those campaigns, in order to ensure the increased traffic to website which the business owner is hoping for.

Due to the fact that social media sites are so popular today, and since it is free to reach out to consumers through this medium, it is one of the best options for business owners to consider, regardless of who their target demographics audience is. Not only can they reach out to those individuals, but the business will also have the opportunity to reach out to an entirely new target audience, and possibly elicit more sales and leads to their site, by reaching out on social media sites.

No matter what type of marketing and advertising methods are chosen, there are dozens of ways a business owner can get their site name out there, for little (or no) cost, and possibly increase sales, business, and traffic to their site. Taking the time to compare and consider each of these options, and taking the time to consider your target audience and what they are most likely to respond to, is something that every business owner has to do, if they are hoping to increase the traffic to website, and increase sales, revenues, and the customer base they currently have.

    You nailed it! You have to drive traffic to generate revenues. When I’m Marketing Blog Engage I get about 1 sales for every 20 new bloggers I bring over to the community. At the end of the day if we don’t drive traffic were not getting sales. I do this by blog commenting, social media tweeting and Facebook marketing.
